A. Newbridge RFC are pleased to announce that there is a new website which will be available to accommodate these types of requests. As I am sure you are aware we have had numerous technical difficulties previously with this, hence our reason for modifying it.

I look forward to hearing your comments with regard to the availability of kit etc on the new website.

Q. For the Committee.

I tried to look at the prices of Newbridge Kit, hoodies and other equipment on the web site today only to find that the site is down again, but before that i found no details of items sold in the club shop on the web site.

Does anyone think that the club is missing a trick again…?

Did anybody hear Garin Jenkins talking about the Legends game during the Dragons/Treviso game on Radio Wales yesterday? It seems that he is looking forward to the day. I hope that we make it a day to remember for Molly and the family.

Check out Wales Today and ITV Wales News later this week for further postings.

Further players have also been confiirmed yesterday. Simon Harris our former second row, Gareth Taylor and Gavin Pugh will be there.

A. As a management team we are all accountable for our actions, however decisions at all levels will not always satisfy everyone. I agree that talented players have left mid-season, however that happens in all clubs during a course of the season.

As well as losing players we have also recruited with one eye on the future with the captures of Dragons U20′ players Tom Edwards, Richard Powell and Tom Watkins. We have also recruited Shaun Thomas from Bedwas who was being chased by several premier sides. Looking at the bigger picture, the club is actively seeking an appointment of Director of Rugby to oversee all levels from U’8’s to the first team.

An announcement will be made shortly.

Q. Why is there such a lack of communication at the club, both on and off the field? Some of our better players have left mid season now and the club has tried to shut down all criticism of the management and coaching actions.
