Bryon ‘Marathon Man’ Hayward . . .

Our very own backs coach Byron Hayward (aged 3 has won many battles on the rugby field, however one of his biggest challenges is coming up. Byron is to run The London Marathon on Sunday the 13th April in aid of NSPCC.

The NSPCC is the UK’s leading charity specialising in child protection and the prevention of cruelty to children. It is a charity close to the heart of Byron.

Byron said “when I finished playing rugby one of my biggest ambitions was to run the London Marathon. Training is going very well and I am now up to running 15 miles a day. I have set myself a personal milestone of raising 2,000 as well as raising awareness for the charity. I am hoping that my run can make a real difference.”
