Season 2007-2008

I am always glad when it comes to writing this post as it gives us the chance to thank you all for your support over the past season. It is always so good to see that the Club is so well supported and I certainly know how much your support means to both the players and officials of the Club.

We were all disappointed that our target of gaining promotion to the Premier Division was not achieved last season. But putting that aside, the season was still relatively successful. We still finished a notable third in the league and also for the first time in the history of the Club claimed the Ben Francis cup. Also, a number of players were selected for the Crawshays XV.

With next season already on the horizon and with the introduction of our new coaching team, it is already one that we are looking forward to and I am sure that you will see a Newbridge team that is strong and dedicated to the attempt that will bring promotion to the club.
